If you want to get technical about it.......no such bill has been proposed in congress.

The article I posted made it clear that Miller and McDermott "are looking at redirecting those (401) tax breaks to a new system"

McDermott's Press Secretary said:

"This [plan] certainly is intriguing," said Mike DeCesare, press secretary for Mr. McDermott.

"That is part of the discussion," he said.

It said" "Mr. Miller was clearly against continuing tax breaks as they currently exist."

So...............................

Just because it hasn't happened yet, there is absolutely no doubt that Democrats would like to seize the opportunity to have control over investor's property, and will be proposing bills aimed at doing so in the near future.
