Forgetting about all of the problems implementing it, wouldn't this "behind the scenes" view be leaking into the market (like a sieve)? You would think if there were a kernel of truth to it the precious metals markets wouldn't have been acting the way they have for the last month.

Ok, maybe it has a small chance for being truth, but I think the bigger point is that if there was 1% truth to this and "someone" is emailing this rumor, there would be hole in the atmosphere as the POG rocket passed $1500K, today.

And to assume 20 monkeys agreed on the price of bananas when 7 monkeys could not.

No, it appears to be yet another example of why goldbugs should never smoke crack.
