Maybe you can tell us how tax revenues grew by 40% under Ah-nuld if Prop. 13 put California on a "starvation diet."


Housing/commericial real estate prices went up during that period.......that increases assessments and in turn,tax revenues. Going up 40%, however, doesn't guarantee the state will sufficient funds. Say what you want........in the ten years I was in CA, I watched the infrastructure deteriorate......badly. And its going to get worse. There just isn't enough money. And no one, including Joe Klein, from the governor on down, from liberals to conservatives wants to talk about the real culprit....insufficient revenues because taxes have been suppressed by Prop 13 for years.

If I ate 40% more food than five years ago, I'd be a real fatso.
