Maybe you should ask that question to many of the hi-tech companies that have been in that situation and then get back to us with an answer. You can start with a couple: INTC, MSFT, SUNW, ORCL COMS, AMAT, CPQ, NVLS,CA, IBM or even NSCP, JBIL, RMBS. Maybe those bulls knew something the bears couldn't see. trey, i expect a collapse around nov 11th similar to the one tha occurred aug 11th. however, i'm loaded on jan 32.50 puts that i bought when mu was 38.50. so, i'm waiting out the mu bulls and will take advantage of any numbskull moves that they pull. i think i can buy slightly out of the money nov puts for $0.50-0.75 near nov 11th and make 5-10 times my money to go along with my set of dec puts. of course, mu can change their mo so it is a gamble. i'll risk less on such a gamble. if all goes well, my breakeven will be around $27 and i expect mu to drop MUCH lower than that. :-) however, the bulls look unusually lame at this moment.
