Really? Then why are the Evangelicals shoving Creationism down our throats and trying to get public schools to teach it alongside evolution? Why are the Republicans so focused on gay marriage, when we are losing our retirements? The Republicans are so out of touch. Get with it. What we care about is our wallet. Stop stealing my money and giving it to the rich people on Wall Street and at the oil companies and at Schlumberger and at all the banks and insurance companies they are bailing out. Stop driving this country into bankruptcy and then expecting me to pay for it. Stop giving tax breaks to rich people and then not doing a damn thing about the AMT, which makes darn sure I don't see a penny in tax breaks. Republicans are a joke nowadays. Someday they'll come back. But for now they have a lot of house cleaning to do.
