<<Give me some positives to buy sun at these levels, and when the tech are near all-time highs.>>
Maybe some techs are, but SUNW definitely isn't.
Positives.
1. Java
2. Local anecdote, near where I live a company is planning to buy an E10000 for about $3,000,000.00. That's an awful lot of NT desktops.
This company is rated in the top 100 companies for IT professionals, so they know what they are doing.
3. SUNW has good growth rate and will continue to grow.
As always, just MHO.
BTW, I was out until recently, bought at 37 5/16, sold this morning at 39, bought back in again ( more than before ) at 38 1/8. Last quote was 38 5/16. So far, I like it. The rest of my techs are pretty much sucking.

Sun and NT are basically two different animals. NT is an immature operating system that is good for office applications. SUNOS, a more mature operating system is geared towards developement. Most government developement is done in UNIX, which SUNOS is a flavor of. SUN also has the lions share of this market, if I remember correctly 40%. NT's multi-processing ability is weak, so there is a limit to it's power. The area where NT and SUN are vieing for power is over control of the internet.
