>>>By the same token, if your year-by-year results were impressive, they would be posted.

Good point. I guess that explains why Bob Brinker doesn't publish his year by year results. Losing money in four out of the last nine years doesn't help to attract new subscribers. Here is the year by year performance numbers for Bob Brinker's portfolio 1.

2000 -1.2%
2001 -2.4%
2002 -3.1%
2003 +45%
2004 +13.5%
2005 +6.4%
2006 +16.5%
2007 +9.2%
2008 -35.6% YTD thru 31 Oct

MI, here's an invitation from Kirk for you to take a peek at ALL his newsletter trades if you so desired.

Somehow, I don't think he would honor my request.

"I DOCUMENT every buy and sell I've made in my newsletter since it started, including commissions. I update this buy and sell list for subscribers every month so all my dirty laundry (bad picks) are never hidden. This is a real, documented record that I invite you to verify before you subscribe. I have all my buys and sells on an Excel spreadsheet backed up with Quicken to verify my math." [emphasis added]
