Great attitude Gloop. I think you could be an inspiration for many young people who don't have a clue about how to be a good parent. I know if I had it to do over again, I'd do some things differently, but I thought it was my solemn duty to make sure my kids got the best information available so they could grow up independent and capable of making wise choices. And I believe hard work is one of the very best things you can teach a child. It gives them such a hand up, and almost guarantees they'll be successful when they become adults. Instilling self confidence helps a lot too. Jr looks like he has a lot of that, but it's fragile and it only takes one incident to destroy it, and there are probably a few people out there just waiting to do that to him. Watch him carefully and pay attention to his moods and behavior. If he gets lazy or moody something is wrong.
