Go with him to visit some employees of English and Canadian companies....Or just meet some of the people in Canadian towns.... Invite them for a lunch, and talk with them of their experiences...... My husband has worked for three UK companies over the years, and we have had MANY of the folks in our home.....They ALL told us the same thing..... And tell him, of course no one will die because they have strep here....if they weren't wise enough to buy insurance, (instead of 3 Tv's, a car, fast food lunches, Starbucks, and all the etcs that people today think are imparative BEFORE they think of buying insurance) ....then they go to Emergency, and are cared for. Some people never pay their bill for that. They expect the other people who use the Hospital to do it for them in the guise of expensive rooms and care.
