You should check out Clowngress a little more carefully. Both parties invoke God's will into there agendas on a regular basis. Especially when starting a new war. Even our worthless pesos say "In God we trust". Republicans and Democrats both use this ploy.

How is the fact that someone believes his position is dictated by god any different that someone believes his her position is dictated by his or her view of "fairness" or "equality". Why should I fear someone whose legislative ideas are based on religion and not someone whose ideas are based on secular beliefs. As far as I know Hitler's ideas were not based on religion, but I sure fear his ideas.

Also, so far as I know Sara Palin has proposed no legislation based on her religious beliefs. I see her as a mother of five who has done a pretty good job of raising her kids and meeting her responsibilities. She poses no danger to me.
