well then maybe thats the right answer. Right now the heads of GM and F are basically lobbyists that spend no time retooling to produce products people want and instead spend *all* their time trying to extract stuff from the govt.

Lutz of GM made an ass of himself on the 60 minutes interview about electric cars.

I remember in the 90s when CA had the first mandate for clean cars and detroit came up with a hydrogen model with something called a "skateboard" which was the standard power train for all hydrogen models. 60 minutes had it on then, too. The first thing the GM exec said was "we need help from govt to make hydrogen cars a reality", WTF? The new startups out here aren't begging congress for money to build anything. I've had it with GM.
