Just trying to get up-to-speed on the current status of government spending in a very difficult economic time for our country.) Most new Presidents attempt something similar when they come into office. (Carter had his 'zero based budgeting' analysis, Reagan had his own cost-cutting transition team, Ford did, etc., etc.) So, what's the big deal? What's WRONG with trying to get a running-start on the run-away government spending???????????????????????????????
