yeah. Agreed. On that note the Santa Clara valley where i live is now designated as a "declining market" - we bucked the trend all year until just a little while ago. What this means is that if somebody wants to buy real estate here as an investment you now need 25% down. Well hells bells, way to kill an already collapsing market? I actually was considering buying something- depending on what you buy it is OBVIOUSLY the bottom- but put 25% down? forget it. How about the fed makes it easier for people like me to invest? Then there would be some actual benefit to this huge money sink
