Why don't they put the left on at 2 AM? No one listens to them anyway.

Re: "Don't get sidetracked...."

I wasn't.

I was talking about the boom I expected in profits for Talk Radio, and that I expected it's current STYLE of broadcast (loud, bombastic, rabble-rousing, etc.) to *expand* across the political spectrum and bring about more shows of that style.

Now... do you want to SWITCH to talking about something else?

Re: "The so-called Fairness Doctrine is JUST for radio...so far."

OK, that's 'something else'.

But, (firstly), you are incorrect.

The Fairness Doctrine (a policy enforced by the FCC for many, many decades was applied on ALL PUBLIC BROADCASTING: TV, radio, etc., throughout the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, etc.)

It WAS NOT "just for radio".

Your statement was incorrect.

(And, I said "was" because the policy has not been in effect for several years now. So, currently, there IS NO "Fairness Doctrine" in effect).
