The number of high school dropouts has increased in recent yrs. Wonder if illegal immigrants are included in the statistics? Students are not required to prove citizenship status when they enroll in US secondary education. Another reason is dysfunctional families - so many teens lack the motivation provided by responsible and determined parents.
