I just heard the Philadelphia mayor on the radio. He and the mayors from Atlanta and Phoenix sent a letter to Paulson stating that city governments should be allocated $50B from TARP for "infrastructure". I kid you not. And silly me, I thought California would be the first state or local government to ask for $. This would be laughable if it wasn't destroying our country.
