I have hung on from 178, but I had some long hedges to offset some of the pain. I did pony up some more about a half hour before the close at 152 when I saw the stochastics on the yen turn up. Was a real nice ride the last half hour. IYR was a lot weaker than the general market today. If the market hesitated or backed off at all today the bids on IYR just disappeared. MPG, my poster child for the REITs, announced that they won't need any more financing for this year and the stock was up 47% yesterday. Of course it gave almost all of it back today when folks realized that the end of the year is only 45 days away. MPG didn't elaborate as to when their next debt is due.
