In Paulson's defense, no one really knows what to do. Against Paulson, he seems to think throwing money at it will solve the problem(s). The most damning thing against Paulson - he's who BUSH picked, so, he's got to be the man that kills our economy. I agree...Paulson's in a difficult position. However, he was the one who screamed wolf at the top of his lungs that all hell would break lose if the $700 billion was not allocated to dealing with the CDOs asap. Then he turns around and distributes the money in a different way without telling anyone? There's a credibility issue here IMO.
