that's probably right but now we have ETF which make it easy like buy and hold lol

From what Ive seen and have been hearing around the floors many retail accounts have been buying leveraged (2x & now 3x) ETF's
Now as I was discussing with SD this could very well be the same thing (just opposite) of what had happened in 2001. Not saying that things are the same as they were in 2001, this is much worse (and we are only starting to find out just how leveraged the banks really were) as many bubbles have popped but ya know Wall Street will always find a way to make a buck.
