My boss said he felt at risk , every place he went to and he was in India, Singapore , Hong Kong and Jakarta. He told me that one American family in India had their daughter raped by an upper class Indian man...............her parents did not report it because to do so would result in death, maybe for the entire family. The Indians have lost respect for life these days and those in the upper casts rule without impediment. My friend went into a lab that had a very nasty smell of solvents. The worker in that room was pregnant and her boss shrugged his shoulders when he was asked about the gal and the baby's health. He also said the war in Afghanistan is being under reported here in the US...............things are miserable there, according to the Indian media. It was a rather sobering trip for him.
