"The fact is, I have a very large percentage of my portfolio in Hussman (one of the few bright lights mentioned in the article) and I am STILL down about 27% ytd. Maybe a little more after today.

But, at least I am doing better than seabiscuit!!!"

<<You are also doing better than Bob Brinker. His portfolio 1 is down 35.6% YTD thru 31 October.>>

--Well, you can't compare apples and oranges. First, I'm down about 27% ytd, NOT thru Oct. 31.

Second, my portfolio is over 50% in bonds and MM, while brinker's P1 is 100% stocks!

Everything considered, I'd say brinker's portfolio is doing pretty good.

The thing that is really dragging my portfolio down is commodities.
