Talking to Investor Relations, I found out that today's drop is related to a big drop in Vencor (VC) which is in similar business. The drop in VC seems to be due to the negative affect of Medicare payment system (fixed rate) being introduced by Balanced Budget Act of 97. I do not think this is an issue for NOV. I remember from last earning report that NOV is well prepared for this new payment system. In fact, Mr. Foster made the comment that the company may in fact benefit from such a payment system. Does anyone else has an opinion on this? Is this a buying opportunity? Thanks,
