He got elected on the vision of Hope and Change. Just like Bill in 1992. (Hope is a place in Arkansas.) Now comes the tough part. Good think is he's starting at a low base thanks to GWB.

hope was used as a political counter to the republican politics of fear. this is not to say dems did not use fear also.
