There's been speculation that he has some stroke damage or brain injury. Might cause that left lean, some of his weirder facial expressions and confused speech and/or thought patterns.

Of course, we always get confirmation well AFTER they leave office.

How about, "Were all Keynesians now."

Keynes was then and probably still is counted as being pretty liberal. So I guess Dick leaned left.
