Thank you, DHE! If your D blood level is less than 50, you are not storing any D in your body. Which means you are in a state of "D starvation." So it is critical for good health to check your D level.

The Medical profession is really behind the times on vitamin supplementation. They are testing C,D and E for effectiveness with very small doses and in some cases with the least effective forms. So you are going to read that "studies show they don't work."

Taking a 1000IU or 2000IU daily would help anybody. And it's dirt cheap. Don't make the mistake of buying tablets of D. Only gelcaps work well.
