Yep, everything before Clinton was Carter's fault. Mostly it's FDR's fault according to the Republikan spin machine. They'll take the government's money for their private business failures but they will only do so very reluctantly and only if the government admits to being 100% at fault.

We would do much better as a country without the anchor that is this right wing ideological garbage.
