agreed - lower income folks, who tend to be minorities and illegal aliens, make up a disproportionate amount of these sub-prime loans in some of the worst offending states - ca, az, florida...

that's a given.

but they were involved b/c some other interests *allowed* them to be involved.

and no, you can't blame a 30 year old program that worked fine for most of that time.

you have to blame the big pool of stupid investment money that was so large, and so stupid, it would invest in a bag of sh*t... and wall street for creating bags of sh*t as quickly as they could...

the stupid money and crooked wall street folks are the problem here.

this is obvious stuff.
