My wife always talks about the CEO of her company, who she often reports to. Thought I knew everything about the woman until I met her. Very nice, highly educated, intelligent, articulate, sharp dresser, these things I already knew. That she was black was something I hadn't known.

I was very proud of my wife for having thought it was such a minor detail as to have never mentioned it.
