The fact they believe this way suggests they will stand in the way of progress all the way through the next few years. Duh. I'm not shocked, or even surprised that the latent redneck racism is coming to the surface. But it's hard to help being a little ashamed of your fellow citizens. They've had so much time to accept the changes but they refuse.
