You're seeing the same thing on the federal level but again, you refuse to see it. Its why your ideology is so dangerous. CA is already burdened by high taxes, and you want to repeal the one measure that keeps that tax burden from becoming astronomical. I didn't say Prop. 13 is the only culprit in CA's slow spiral downward but its a major contributor. I do agree with you that there is gov't mismgmt.....probably more than normal.....but not nearly as bad as you all make it. In addition, diversity has left the wealthier white folk less committed to the success of the state. A lot of mistakes have been made in the development of the state and those mistakes are cumulative......with the end product getting harvested now.You hide behind buzzwords like "greed" and "ideology," yet you don't give a damn about the average Californian, prefering instead to move to a state with a more "conservative" tax structure (i.e. no income taxes). I moved to WA state primarily for my health....both mental and physical. There was no one more surprised than me when I realized there was no income tax. I think you have a hard time understanding that not all people think like you. It's your ideology that is at work in CA, not mine. The legislature and the judiciary are all left-leaning socialists, and Ah-nuld has recently moved that way. You say that's unique to CA and not to liberalism in general, but that's a real cop-out. Like I said, the Republicans sold out the state decades ago......yes, back in Jarvis's time, CA was mostly GOP. Now the Dems are left fighting over the table scraps.
