I was there moose hunting. We didn't kill any-lol. So it was a late September fall evening near dusk with a few orange and red clouds and clear and cold. We were in the cabin and heard this weird noise and couldn't tell what it was. So we went outside and looked around, but saw nothing and then one person looked up and what a sight to behold. Thousands of geese, very very high up, maybe a mile, coming to a central spot right over our heads. They were flying in from all directions and were really squawking up a storm like they were stoked-lol. They were still coming as it turned dark, but I assume as they got together they headed south.
