My suggestion is to look up the majors, see if you can find the # for their switchboard, and ask to be transferred to the EXPLORATION division. The people in that division should have the most current information regarding lease/drilling/JV negotiations. I would assume what they say is what they deem to be public or unclassified knowledge. It wouldn't hurt to throw some names around, which can be found by looking in Edgar, or if you know the name of some large shareholder you're a "friend" of... =) Haven't had time to look through my email, will probably do that tonight in case some of you are wondering why I haven't responded.
