I understand that sentiment, but having Hillary give up one of the most powerful Senate seats at a time when Obama needs ALL the support he can get is a bad decision...there is too much at stake in the Senate...she will and he will be then giving up seats....
Better to get Richardson in....much much more international experience and he is only the Governor of NM....WAY BETTER TRADE OFF....plus Bill Clinton has way too much international baggage that will bring in all kinds of problems with conflict of interest...
he's out there...let him do his thing, and let Hillary hold down power in the Senate

I think Hillary is going to be a great Secy. State. I think this is one position where Bill Clinton will actually be an asset instead of a distration. He can do some advance work for her trips (or just stay out of the way). I really think Obama wants to concentrate on the domestic economy, and Clinton has the stature to hold the spotlight while he's cleaning up the homefront. I think she understands that we're getting out of Iraq and that won't be an issue.
