I know moral absolutes may seem "quaint" to post-modern intellectuals like yourself, but without any absolutes, you have no foundation to base any moral judgements upon, and your positions would have no more weight than dust in the wind.

I have absolutes. So do you. And they differ. There is the paradox to your universal absolutes... I guess you think YOU must be right and everyone else wrong?

As for Bill Ayers, if you buy his B.S. excuse that he and his fellow anarchists were trying to end the Vietnam war with their brand of domestic terrorism, then I think you would have no basis on which to object to anything the KKK or idiot racists do to "protest" an educated black man becoming president.

Well I buy into it in that that's what they were trying to do. I didn't say it was justified, in fact it was plane stupid. They did more to galvanize opinion and probably prolonged the war.

As far as the KKK and Ayers, yes I am fully capable of making a reasoned distinction. Just as you are capable of making a distinction between the American revolutionaries and Ayres.

This whole line of thinking of yours seems to dig you deeper into a hole.
