Thanks for appreciating it POET:) i read it in Septemper, and it blew me away.Saw your new thread and thought this article was born to be here:)
Did some research on Paul Reyes, he is an editor of literary magazine NOT in Florida, so i feel he made this trip to see his father and to specifically do a major bit of journalism.

The story REACHED into me, the writing so straight forward but you feel it coming quietly from his, Paul Reyes'es own heart.i can see why Harper's editor gave it "The Cover":) Max

That is a remarkable piece! It took a long time to read, because it is not the type of reading material to breeze through quickly, but the time spent was well worth it.
