Good idea. The health of individual citizens is a big issue and the inefficiencies and ineffectiveness of the hodge-podge health care system will bury us financially if the Reagan Revolution Depression doesn't do that first. IMO people are too frightened of going up against the health care industry. It's bunkum. We should have more medical schools to churn out more doctors at a lower cost -- what we would do for any service in demand and in short supply -- and have more primary service provider clinics. Doctors wouldn't make as much money and they would be subject to much faster disciplinary action for incompetence but wouldn't be subject to the kind of huge malpractice suits/insurance they have now. We can also stop subsidizing the world with our over priced drugs.
