I admit $2/share is a pure guess. What is an enterprise worth if senior management is convicted of felonies, flagship products are enjoined, and stiff civil penalties are assessed? What if revenues tumble with products enjoined? Certainly the shares are not worth a PE over 50, if there is any "e" left to "p" over.

Look, there are people and funds out there holding plenty-o-AVNT through the aquisition deals or market buys. If I was in the position of owning a few million shares, I would really HATE the bear case for this stock, too. But it is a pretty convincing case, and if I could get out of my position at todays lofty price, I would. Who needs the risk when there are so many great stocks around, many at much lower valuations.

And you could go short. As a momentum-playing friend who had been long AVNT says about the stock as a short, "shoot it in the back as it goes down."
