I almost see a fundamental injustice in these recent bailouts. I mean, what if a company could have held out a little longer if it thought it was going to get saved, but called the shots and folded according to the rules. Then the next company gets saved because it dogged the rules longer.

A neighbor lost his business and house when fuel went up so high. Now it's back down. What if he could have been bailed out long enough to get the lower prices, etc. etc.

There's no end to it. I think if you play by the rules, everybody should play by the rules and suffer accordingly.
