Oh! So natural gas is methane. No wonder bearcatbob thought I was an idiot. LOL. Well, at least I admit my ignorance, when I am ignorant. Like I said, I don't know much about chemistry.

So natural gas seems to me to be a great solution. Methane is widely regarded as worse than CO2 for global warming. So if we burn it to fuel our cars, that creates a new greenhouse gas sink. Not a bad win win.

Where does natural gas come from, iyo?

Glad I could help clear that up. ;)

P.S. You should try taking a basic chemistry class if you want to understand energy issues.
