So... what have we learned?

1) That the many decades-long legal experience that America had when it lived with the FCC's "Fairness Doctrine" applied to ALL over-the-air broadcast media (not just 'talk radio'... and certainly not ANYTHING that did not utilize the publicly owned airwaves... such as cable TV, the Internet, etc.)

2) the very article that you posted claims that Obama does not even support a restoration of the "Fairness Doctrine". (It said that he was opposed.)

Then the post went on to some airy speculation about some not-yet-even-defined new definition for "localism", with no indication what in the Hell that could even mean, or who in Hell might be opposed or who support it.

All GUESSES, no facts.

Guess the sky is not falling quite yet!
