There's a reason Union membership is only 1.5 of all American workers. Citizens cannot afford the products Union members make. Citizens cannot afford to support local, State and Federal Govt, SS recipients, Medicare recipients AND Union members cushy retirements. No one should be able to retire with full or near full salary and benefits at the age of 54. I use that because an ex Ford employee called Medved the other day who had done just that. He's worried his pension will disappear if the Big 3 go out of business. I would be worried too. If he was smart he'd go out and find a job.
