many who voted for him will be very disappointed when he backs out of his promises, voter remorse will set it very quickly soon thereafter, and then the honeymoon will be over...

Actually 60 Minutes on CBS is one of the highest rated programs in broadcasting, period.
Week before last, it was the highest rated TV program of the week, that's the week before the Obama interview.
Obviously the President-elect chose 60 minutes because of its large audience.

"To begin with, CBS has no viewership in the first place, their ranking is very low, about the worst of any broadcast network, so any minimal uptick that evening was a boom to that network...<g>"

That's just plain wrong.
