3,723: The number of billable hours Obama accrued while working at Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Gallard

If that's true, BO was basically a part time lawyer. That comes to less than 1000 billable hours per each year of employment (4).

It would also explain why he didn't seek employment at any large firm. Large firms put a lot of pressure on their well-paid young associates.

2000+ billable hours per year would be expected.

"In 1994, Obama appeared in Cook County court on behalf of Woodlawn Preservation & Investment Corp., defending it against a suit by the city, which alleged that the company failed to provide heat for low-income tenants on the South Side during the winter."

Over four years? That's less than half time billable. Not good.
