I'm surprised the expectations were so high.

They actually weren’t that high; the problem is that XTLB sold off the HCV program for peanuts so now there is nothing left.

I don't think expectations were high, their last funding was done for a steep discount. If you look it up, Perseptive Advisors fund was bidding it up heavily, seemingly on their own. I think without their buying it would have been well under $2 going in.
