Do you have a feeling, or have you seen any conjectures, for how Reliance's expanded GSM rollout will affect the CDMA/GSM mix going forward?

I hadnt seen anything specific, but the interview link you provided gives an interesting number.....they have 25% share of net adds in the cities that run both CDMA and GSM currently. If they can maintain that share nationwide, they would be adding 2.5 million subs a month versus the 1.8-1.9 million that they are adding currently (1.4 million CDMA).

Just a WAG, but I could definitely see CDMA net adds dropping in half when the GSM rollout is complete. I dont think Reliance will abandon CDMA, but their emphasis will clearly shift.

Q's fortunes in India are going to depend on Shyam ramping up their network rollout and the 3G auction going off by early next year.
