Yes, I meant XXClone. Acronis will let you make a restore cd that you boot from if your boot drive is screwed. If your hard drive is still operational, the Acronis program boots for you and restores before the OS loads. As long as your new drive will hold the size of the image, you can restore to it. I have read your posts on XXClone. The only reason I use Acronis is that I purchased it before hearing about your program and it has served me well. Had I not bought it, I would give the freebie a try before shelling out the bucks.
