People who are grounded in something are less likely to swoon over images than the college educated, whose training elevates the importance of symbols.

People that still reject government handouts want to earn what they get and keep what they earn. These people are dwindling in numbers, but they represent original American spirit.

True. But if there's one thing a person with common sense should see it's when they have enough information to make a decision. When the facts are lacking, common sense should tell one to get more facts.

I'm sure you've seen the video of the Obamaton voters being asked simple questions about gov't and politics. It seemed to me that not only were these voters lacking in common sense (since they didn't have a clue as to just how ignorant they were) but they also had the double whammy of getting their political exposure from the MSM.

You're right though, there's no simple explanation.....
