can you see that once GM started suing CA and states that wanted clean air standards that they essentially reneged on any allies they might have had in those states? It doesn't matter that I, or any californian don't know the auto industry. What matters is that CA passed a law, for and by Californians, and GM sued, because they have an antiquated company that can't compete. Then when GM couldn't win in court, which in and of itself was a sleazy way to fight this battle, they took it one step further and lobbied the corrupt Bush admin EPA to reject CA clean air standards.

I'm surprised GM hasn't sued everybody who decides to buy a foreign car, or anybody that chooses to buy a car that gets more than 35 MPG!
