"There is additional 'commission' being funneled through there somewhere and it is in the stock price you pay."

you are correct on stock transactions.

what about options?ÿ my experience is that i haveÿnot been screwed by discounters such as etrade, discover or pacific.ÿ i can check out the time, volume and price on a "bloomberg" machine. if there is an exercise, the price is fixed by the options contract.ÿ found your comments very informative.

regards

DAVID,

I strongley agree! These firms are great at getting you in the rear in any way that they can!

Also worked for AG Edwards, and they continue to forecast there opinion that full time brokers do get you better prices and service.

Good trading.
Hope you are all ok using the online system today, I expect more news about crashes.
