Elroy Jetboy is right. The management is to blame for signing the UAW contracts rather than negociating harder. Then again in a manufacturing business with long chains of suppliers they could just strike one supply area and shut down protection.

Not that the UAW didn't get out of hand. They just chose one company to strike every couple years or so.

The UAW guy was just on blaming Auto financing/credit.
